There is a great deal of time and effort put in to getting a project all set-up with the needy organizations. Then coordinating with the stake leaders who will over see its being accomplished....Member involvement is a big part of humanitarian efforts. Learning to serve as our Savior served is what it is all about...loving and caring and doing! Most of these projects are for foundations who help the mentally ill. Helping to improve the living conditions by painting and or providing needed clothing/supplies/other necessities is part of what the Church will fund.
